Publishing Problems With FrontPage & Vista?

The other day a nice lady and FrontPage user emailed me looking for help with a problem.  The following is that conversation thread (with her permission).

Question:

You asked me to contact you directly.  I'm having the same issue as the guy on Vista compatibility.  I also have Front Page 2003 and I cannot get it to publish.  My site is {Redacted}
My ISP says that if I use Windows Explorer it will bring up the log in--it won't. Filezilla can't even work.
I've been to Dell support twice and now they are taking me up a level.
Even with the firewall off, and with the site listed as "trusted" something in Vista is blocking me out.
I can use Front Page on my Windows ME computer running through the same modem and same router with no problem.
That's how I'm having to publish my site despite having purchased a new vista computer.  I'm running vista home premium.  Can you get me any help at all?

Answer:

Hi Jeanne, Try this, right click the FrontPage icon and then click "run as administrator". I'm thinking it's got something to do with the UAC in Vista. After running FrontPage as an administrator see if you can connect. If you want, give me your FTP username and password and I'll test it from my machine.

You found the problem!  I had to open the "icon" and then get to the choice to run the program as "administrator" but when I did that everything worked! Thank you very, very much!  I am now able to publish from Front Page and easily update my pages.  Thank you again!
